An impressive achievement; the ‘sponsorloop’ (charity run) of the Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar during their sports day in June, raised more than EUR 14,500! A truly phenomenal amount! The proceeds will go to the Sangat Secondary boarding school in Pokot, Kenya. An extra special touch to the event was that the Eritrean athletics talent Abderezak Suleman participated in the run so the students had the pleasure to run alongside a professional top athlete. Everyone involved can be very proud of the result.
