During the sports week of the European (elementary) School The Hague (ESH), 6-9 Feb 2023, a charity run led to the amazing total amount of EUR 5.000 raised for Local Heroes. The young pupils ran many, many laps which were sponsored by their generous families and friends. Local Heroes is very grateful for this really successful effort. Many thanks in particular to the ESH sports teacher (left on picture) and Marie Bischof (right), their Communications manager, for organizing this great event. The raised funds are donated to several causes: to Dorcas Cherop to support her in the next 3 years, to a part of the dormitory project in Kenya, and the remaining amount is reserved for a soon to be announced new project.
